Success consists of going from failure to failure whithout loss of enthusiam.

Well the next step involved getting the van ready for its last road trip to test out all the systems before I start on the paneling and the cabinetry. I also had to get approval from the Captain, Captain Parks that is. This next trip was to be out to West Texas in the Davis Mountains so I had to have the heater up and running and the bed installed. Heaven forbid I sleep on anything but a memory foam mattress in the great outdoors. So these pics are just before the trip, and by the way, the Captain gave the bunk a thumbs up and promptly declared it his. I am to be relegated to the lower shorter bunk it seems. The negotiations on sharing will continue….

She’s looking real good amigo!!

Love it!!! Bunk looks sturdy and comfortable. Of course, I know the engineer – so no doubt it is solid as a rock. 💪🏼
