We did a bike tour of Madrid today. This is truely a a majestic city. We started out just north of the main Central Park and ventured over to the palace and then took a meandering path through the heart of Madrid. Here are some of the pics along the way. I will let the captions speak for the trip. Needless to say I have a new favorite city!

I’ve never been, but it’s definitely on my list! Seeing a city by bike is a wonderful way to go (as long as the traffic isn’t too crazy).

The nice thing about biking Madrid is that there are nice bike lanes AND a lot of smaller interconnecting roads that are more for foot traffic and bikes that have nice places lining them to shop and eat. I agree, biking is the way to see a city!!

Looks awesome! I can’t wait to visit. We are staying 2 days in Madrid before we leave for Lugo. I enjoyed your food post the other day too. Wonderful.
