Circling, circling, circling…. Fying high over the design landscape of a van conversion. Feels a bit like being out of control, but yet still in control. Hitting on each area just enough to drive more detail in the design, and then moving on. From electrical to water, from solar panels to heating units, from interior design to internal structures. They all relate and affect each other in some way. This is the dilemma and challenge of such an integrated design.
This is one of those weeks where I don’t have alot of physical progress to show. I have alot of tape inside an empty van. I have some Sketchup models in my computer starting to get some very real dimentions on them. I have a few of the mockups started but not complete. This next week I am off to complete the mockups and hopefully nail down the configuration I will pursue. Below are the two I am considering.

Yes I will. The first to go in is flooring (with insulation) and after that insulation and sound deadening in the walls and ceiling. Thanks for the blue tape comment. I got a chuckle out of that. 😁
