HA! I say that in jest but we did reach a magical spot today. It is the halfway mark. Now every distance we have to walk is less than the distance we have have walked so far. It is a bit of a relief actually. When I have been walking a really long time and I think that I am not even halfway there yet, it is a bit of a mental hill to climb. But now, I don’t have to climb that hill anymore.
Today was a long walk down a very straight road. The solitude of it was mesmerizing. I found the quiet to be just what my soul needed. There was a nice pack of familiar faces along the way, and it looks like I will have plenty of company in this small oasis for dinner. What else could a soul need?

yeah brother….and my biggest problem today is getting my cable back on…..having lunch with Dad tomorrow and going to finally print some of your blogs and pics to give to him….love you

Well when someones mentions the median to you from now on it sure isn’t some abstract statistical concept. Congratulations! The photo of 4 looks like a happy crowd. The way people are dressed it appears a little chilly?

You are right about that. It is chilly. Some days it is down in the lower 40s when we start out. But it usually warms up to the 60s. Nice hiking weather for the most part.
